2026 NJDOT Complete Streets Summit
Mark your calendars! The 2026 NJDOT Complete Streets Summit, sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Transportation, will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at the College Avenue Campus Student Center at Rutgers University in New Brunswick.
Complete Streets are streets designed for all road users based on the specific context and needs of your community. The Complete Streets Summit brings together planners, engineers, public officials, health professionals, advocates, and others involved with shaping communities throughout New Jersey. Summit session topics will include institutionalizing Complete and Green Streets policies, lessons learned from implementation, and what is in store for the Complete Streets movement.

Complete Streets Summit Sold Out
The Complete Streets Summit is at capacity, and we would like to free up any available tickets for people on the waitlist. If you are no longer able to attend the event, please log into Eventbrite to cancel your order. If you need us to assist you in canceling your order, please let us know.
Parking and Directions
All attendees planning to park must register online prior to arriving at the Summit by clicking here. Attendees may park in Lots 26, 30 & College Avenue Deck. When registering online, click “Visitor” then enter your email and vehicle information. Once completed you will receive an email and/or text confirmation.
Rutgers affiliated Faculty, Staff and Students must have a Rutgers parking permit (Semester, Daily, or Event) and park accordingly. Faculty, Staff, and Students parking without a parking permit or outside their parking permit assignment will be subjected to ticketing and/or towing. You will also receive an email with instructions and links attached.

We encourage you to take transit to the Summit if you are able. Directions to the Student Center from the New Brunswick train station are included below.
